This private Muse Time blog was created as an additional resource for Color of Women students who took an extension, and are working toward completion and graduation on "Muse Time."
Life circumstances and unavoidable tragedies sometimes interfere with a quest; after the classroom and support group closes, it can be challenging to find momentum "on your own" to finish.
With that in mind, Nadya, a Color of Woman 2015 graduate, heartstormed with Sarah, Shiloh and the Color of Woman team on how to best provide gentle support for those who are still moving toward graduation.
We agreed opportunity for witnessing and guidance on this final potion of their quest was a good option. Since our Muse Time group began, a number students have completed their quests, and are now graduates and Guild members!
Rosie Mac, who needed to take and extension herself, co-facilitates the space.
Here are some ways that we can serve you:
- Your private Facebook Group, where you can share WIP, offerings, articles for your initiate book, and witness each other's progress. This is a Muse friendly, critic-free space designed for you, with several Graduate volunteers helping tend.
- Ongoing access to the lessons and information needed to compete your quest and your Initiate Book. (Link is on the FB page, or in your dashboard)
- Sarah Mardell and Jenafer Owen are our contacts for submission guidelines, and can field questions around tuition, timing and Initiate book submission. Sarah@Musea.org
- Occasional support calls.
- Shiloh invites members to join the monthly Red Tread Connect calls, which are great for networking with each other and the worldwide Red Thread Community. "This is a sacred space ....these calls happen once a month, are global and private. Together we will create a container with Red Thread connecting us from across the miles." ~ Milagros Suriano, Color of Woman 2019 Student
- You are invited to join Nadya's virtual online circle that meets two times a month, with different facilitators from the IC community, and a Facebook page, Red Thread Creatives. Let Nadya know if you're interested in leading a session.
- This Muse Timers blog, offers ideas for reconnecting with the process, and tips you may find useful as you connect with your own beloveds.
We are so pleased you are choosing to continue your Color of Woman quest on Muse Time, and so glad to support you!
